* if the rider wants to ride a bike/scooter owned by another person, it is allowed only if the bike owner provides an official letter from the Insurance Company (on Company letterhead) that the student rider will be fully covered during the class for any liability or personal injury incidences; there must be a contact phone number in the letter for PROMCT to call to confirm authenticity.

SECTION 1:  SUBMIT “OWN BIKE” DOCS (situational – if riding own bike in class)

Open this toggle to view the instructions to submit the required motorcycle/scooter documents

TASK 1. SUBMIT "OWN BIKE" DOCUMENTS (~10-15 min)

If using your own motorcycle or scooter in a course, consider the following:

  • bikes must be registered in the student’s name  (if applicable, see Comment/Note in the page header section for the exception to this rule)
  • bikes must have stock exhaust, or at least exhaust with noise levels at or near stock levels;  excessive exhaust noise is disruptive, and is not allowed
  • bikes can be of any cc amount;  but, due to the safety of all involved, bikes >1000 ccs and/or are of a touring style are highly discouraged unless the rider has significant motorcycle control skills & capabilities.

TASK(S):
STEP #1: COMPLETE & GATHER ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
  • TCLOCS Form:
    ->
    Print and fill out completely (i.e. each line item must have a response of some sort)
    ->
    sign & date somewhere in margin;  if bike is owned by someone else, both rider & owner must sign & date the completed form
  • Proof of Vehicle registration
  • Proof of Insurance

Ensure all documents are accurate, complete and associated to the bike being ridden.  If not correct or not related to the specific bike being ridden and not corrected before class range start, the bike cannot be used.  If this occurs, you’ll be able to rent a PROMCT training bike at class time at the posted fee.
