Our core offerings are the MSF BRC1 and BRC2 waiver safety courses. We also provide specialized classes for both novice and experienced riders:
– **Novice Rider Courses**: Slower-paced sessions that focus on essential skills, balance, and comfort on the motorcycle.
– **Experienced Rider Courses**: Advanced training that sharpens technique, improves control, and prepares riders for more challenging situations.
Not sure which course is right for you? Review our guidelines below, or contact PROMCT directly — we’ll help you find the perfect starting point.
SUGGESTED COURSE PER RIDER TYPE
PROMCT offers a number of classes based on your skill level. The diagram shows the suggested class to take based on your riding experience category.
- NOVICE
- has little to no experience riding a two-wheeled vehicle, including bicycles, scooters, and motorcycles
- easily or quickly becomes nervous and/or anxious under minimal stress levels
- want to just experience getting on a motorcycle
- want a slower pace class that spends more time learning the skills
- may be anxious using a clutch or may have difficulty learning to use a clutch
- BEGINNER:
- has some to moderate riding experience, whether on a pedal bike, scooter or motorcycle
- is comfortable on two-wheeled vehicle in various situations
- has a knowledge of, or experience with, a clutch
- EXPERIENCED:
- has extensive riding experience and good skill levels
- a focus on foundational skills is not a necessary objective.

Note: Successfully completing a novice/beginner level course will earn a discount off a more experienced level course.
Ex. a portion of your investment in a "Learn to Ride" class will transfer to a BRC1 class.
YOUR RIDING EXPERIENCE & CLASS RECOMMENDATIONS
If you were to categorize your riding skills, what would that be? And, how would that impact the class I should take? Using the matrix shown, PROMCT shows our recommendation for your intitial class.
NOTE: For “novice” riders, pass results for a BRC1 class go from approximately 75% to 99% if the novice student initially took the “Learn to Ride” class. Also, the students’ overall experience was more relaxed and enjoyable.
